Wetland (read more here)
A grass-choked seasonal drainage is being returned to a healthy wetland where native plants attract a wide variety of birds, bees, and other wildlife. This educational demonstration project receives support from student, civic, business, and government organizations. (Begun 2017)

Continue planting apple varieties and other fruit trees in the new orchard and rejuvenating the old orchard.
Control the spread of aggressive non-native invasive plants.

Constructed a permanent, double-vault restroom at the main trailhead. (Installed 2017, with funding from the Idaho State Department of Parks and Recreation: Recreational Trails Program ($26,908) and Latah County Community Foundation ($2,500))
Constructed new dock for the upper pond. (Accomplished 2015, with funding from Latah County Community Foundation ($1,150))

Constructed an enclosed structure that can be used as a classroom. (Accomplished 2012)
